Brooklyn, N.Y. (Resorts World Casino, Queens) – “I’M THE KING OF NEW YORK! ANY FIGHTER THAT BEAT ME, I BEAT THEM FIRST.” – Christopher Colbert

Currently in New York City boxing, there’s tension brewing between two up and coming prospects who possess great skill, unbelievable talent, and a broad fan base that stretches from the inner city to the entire boxing community. I am discussing none other than:

Christopher “Lil Bhop” Colbert aka “The Golden Child” (6-0, 2 KOs)

Titus “God Gifted” Williams (7-0, 2 KOs).

In today’s generation of boxing, fight fans want the here and now. There are many matchups between prospects, contenders, and world champions that need the rightful time to build up the hype; to build up the excitement for what will be a money-making fight.

Both men are former New York Daily News Golden Glove Champions, undefeated featherweights, and currently signed to the management team of Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions.

There have been rumors that a proposed fight between both prospects was made a few times. Both men have expressed an interest in fighting each other, as they have history from a previous sparring match.

In speaking with Colbert last night at The Real Deal Boxing Sports and Entertainment fight card, he held no punches back as to his feelings on facing Williams.
