Brooklyn, N.Y. – “I’m God Gifted.” – Floyd Mayweather

Fight fans have been waiting for it and now it’s here. The “EPIC” world-wide press tour for the upcoming Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor mega-fight will begin on Tuesday, July 11, with its first stop taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. One can only imagine the number of fans and celebrities who will appear, cheering and chanting each fighter’s name. The fan base for both men is unmeasurable. Both men represent and lead their respective sports from the top down.

Mayweather (49-0, 26 KOs) has won almost every world championship in boxing between the weight of 130 pounds to 154 pounds. His accolades and world championships achieved is ranked highest in the history of boxing:

  • WBC Super Featherweight Champion
  • WBC Lightweight Champion
  • WBC Super Lightweight Champion
  • IBF Welterweight Champion
  • WBC Welterweight Champion (2x)
  • WBC Super Welterweight Champion (2x)
  • WBA (Super) Welterweight Champion
  • WBO Welterweight Champion
  • Ring Lightweight Champion
  • Ring Welterweight Champion (2x)
  • Ring Junior Middleweight Champion

Conor McGregor – “I hold this entire game in the palm of my hands.”

McGregor, the former UFC Featherweight Champion and current Lightweight Champion is unequivocally one of the biggest names in combat sports today. McGregor is undeniably “THE MAN TO BEAT” within the “UFC.”

McGregor’s mixed-martial arts record stands at 21-3-2, with 18 of his wins coming by way of knockout, with one win coming by way of submission. He has basically owned the UFC throughout recent years and rightfully so. McGregor is not an ordinary man. He is a fighter that brings that added excitement, each time he steps inside the cage. From his patented southpaw stance, he is always willing to trade punches with his opponent, no matter the cost. He is willing to a kick or punch to land a single power-strike that will close out his fight. He’s relentless, but tactical; outspoken, but effective; and he understands the nature of fighting.

Boxing fans have been here before. Many times over, especially when England’s Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton (a natural boxer by trait), faced Mayweather and was dispatched of in eleven rounds (TKO). Now McGregor, with his native country of Ireland supporting him, combined with the many MMA fighters from around the world, will be looking to land that one punch that can change the history of boxing, mixed-martial arts, and sports entertainment in its entirety. McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut (0-0-0) against “the best of the best in boxing’s history” aka “Mr. TBE” aka “The crème de La crème” aka “Floyd Money Mayweather.”

Fight fans are eagerly readying themselves as The Floyd Mayweather & Conor McGregor blockbuster press tour will embark on an international “Open-to-the-Public” beginning Tuesday, July 11 in Los Angeles.
