Brooklyn, N.Y. – It’s been quite some time since the borough of Brooklyn, let alone the city of New York, has had a viable contender to become a world heavyweight champion. Brooklyn has had many great heavyweight champions, most notably Mike Tyson, Riddick Bowe, and Shannon Briggs. Now the time has come for Jarrell Miller (18-0-1, 16 KOs) to take the next step in his career towards for fulfilling his lifelong goal and destiny.

Before he is given an opportunity to face one of the current champions in his division he must defeat another heavyweight contender, one who has faced tough opposition, especially during his last fight. On July 29, 2017, live in Brooklyn, at the Barclays Center, Miller will be facing heavyweight title contender Gerald Washington (18-1-1, 12 KOs).

This will be the “Brooklynite’s” first time fighting in front of his hometown fans. Miller, the “Six-Foot-Four”, “Heavy-Handed Power Puncher” is currently ranked at number eight in the United States as the best heavyweight boxer. He’s been featured on Showtime Boxing (Extreme) many times, displaying amazing knockout power while dispatching his opponents in electrifying performances.

His next opponent Washington, is also ranked in the United States (number seven) as the best heavyweight boxer in his division.

Washington has been featured on many Premier Boxing Champions cards, stands at “Six-Foot-Six”, and as previously mentioned, has faced tough opposition, including the likes of current heavyweight contenders Amir Mansour (23-2, 16 KOs; current WBC-USNBC Heavyweight Champion), “Fast” Eddie Chambers (42-5, 23 KOs; former USBA and IBU Heavyweight champion); and the current WBC World Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder (38-0, 37 KOs). In his last fight against Wilder, many boxing fans and writers believed Washington was winning the early rounds of the fight until he was stopped in the fifth round by TKO.

Miller, the WBO-NABO, WBA-NABA Heavyweight champion, fears no man.

The vocal and charismatic fighter has called out every top boxer in his division. With his professional kickboxing career and well rounded knowledge of combat sports, Miller truly understands the nature of what fight fans want to see: total unfiltered knockout action. Miller is well-spoken and displays supreme confidence in his fighting abilities.

Quite frankly, he’s a marketing genius. With his “seek-and-destroy mentality”, the “power punching power heavyweight” is focused on giving  fight fans “a memorable fight” each time he steps inside the ring.

With his newly created promotional company (Big Baby Promotions), fight fans can expect great things to come from Miller, including winning a heavyweight world championship.

A win for either man will catapult their standings within the heavyweight division. A win for the hugely favorite, calculated, power puncher Miller, will be another step towards glory of fighting for and winning a world title.

The Miller vs Washington heavyweight battle is scheduled to take place on July 29, 2017, live at the Barclays Center (Brooklyn, N.Y.) on the undercard of the Adrien Broner, Cincinnati, OH (33-2, 24 KOs) vs Mikey Garcia, Oxnard, CA (36-0, 30 KOs) SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT FIGHT.

Presented by Premier Boxing Champions and LIVE on SHOWTIME, the former WBC Lightweight Champion Broner is set to face the current WBC Lightweight Champion Garcia. Garcia (3x-division World Champion) has dominated all his opponents in explosive fashion.

Other confirmed bouts for this exciting fight card are expected to be announced in the days to come. For continued support, follow Miller at:
