Abraham Nova, better known to his friends and fans as “Super Nova”, continues to rise through the ranks within the 130lb division. With a record of (14-0, 10 KOs) and a new management deal in place, the Dominican and Puerto-Rican power puncher is readying himself for his next main event, scheduled for Friday, May 10.

Abraham Nova on signing his new promotional deal and looking for the best fights towards becoming a world champion:

“I just finished signing a deal with Split T Management. I’m excited and now my team and I are looking to develop a co-promotion with Eddie Hearn (Matchroom Boxing) or Bob Arum (Top Rank Boxing).”

“I have to make sure what’s best for me. Now we’re making bigger moves and making better deals. Right now I’m in negotiations with both companies.”

“I was signed in a three-way promotion deal with Murphy’s Boxing, 12 Rounds Promotions, and Greg Cohen Promotions. 12 Rounds Promotions is now my advisor and Murphy’s Boxing is my only Promoter.”

“Win a win for this fight, I can move up to the top five in the rankings and look to fight for a world title in my next two fight. My time is coming. Soon the world will know about my skills and talent.”

Abraham shared his thoughts regarding the current champions at 130lb.:

“Everyone is on my radar; anyone in the sanction bodies are on my radar. I want my shot. I know I belong in there with the top dogs. I’m ready for the best of the best in and around my division.”

“The belts are there. I just need my opportunity and once I get it, I’m taking over. All of these fighters and champions know me from the amateur ranks. These fighters/champions won’t face me because I’m a threat.”

Abraham on facing Gervonta Davis (2x world champion, current WBA Super Featherweight World Champion):

“I want Gervonta Davis. He’s a great fighter with great power, but I feel that I’m more polished than him. I am stronger and have better lateral movement. I’m longer and taller than him. I feel that I have better all-around skills than him. I’m faster and I have great experience.”

Abraham on facing Tevin Farmer (current IBF Super Featherweight World Champion)

“Farmer is a slick fighter. I feel like the way he handles himself against these opponents that he gets, these lower class opponents, he’s not fighting them the right way. If they were fighting me, I’d get them out of there. He continues to have tough times with these opponents. Farmer has the skills and he is winning but I feel that he needs to winning in a better fashion at the level of the sport of where he’s at.”
