Brooklyn, NY:

Current UBF World Lightweight Titlist Hank Lundy (28-6-1, 14KOs) will continue his quest towards lightweight dominance when he battles former World Champion DeMarcus Corley (50-28-1 28KO), February 10, live at the at the historic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, (PA).

A fight between two savvy and cagey veterans is sure to bring out the best of both men and produce lots of action. Both Lundy and Corley train constantly, remaining in shape, always in preparation for a possible fight. Both men are never more than five to ten pounds above their fighting weight of 135lb (lightweight). What’s also intriguing about this matchup is the:

  1. Style of the fight: both Corley and Lundy fight in the southpaw stance which should produce good hard punches from both men.
  2. Difference in Age: Lundy, at age thirty-four may appear to have the advantage over Corley; however, Corley, at age forty-three, continues to fight as if he’s still between the age of thirty to thirty-five years old.
  3. The Location and venue: for older fight fans this is a great matchup of fighters from the Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. area. The 2300 Arena has been known throughout the years to pack the house with fight fans from all over. A fight of this magnitude should surely sell out the venue by fight night.

The bout, being brought to us by both Hard-Hitting Promotions and Hammerin Hank Productions, is also shaping to have a good undercard. Scheduled to appear on the undercard is the son of former heavyweight champion Hasim “The Rock” Rahman, heavyweight Hasim Rahman Jr. Nicknamed “Gold-blooded” Rahman Jr. is off to a great start in his professional career. With a record of (3-0, 3 KOs), the Baltimore, MD. Native will look to continue his winning ways and capture win number four. Also scheduled to be featured on the undercard is Hard Hitting Promotions’ own Jeremy “King” Cuevas who looks to build off an impressive 2017 with his first bout back in the ring.

Said Lundy,

“This fight is going to be epic. This fight will be a Hard-Hitting Promotion and Hammerin Hank Production fight event. If you’re in the Philadelphia area you can’t miss this. I’m locked in. I’m coming for blood and to end his career. February 10, at the 2300 Arena, you better be ready because the Hammer is coming to knockout the Axe. Anybody that’s been talking shit about fighting me or calling me out, I’m on your ass and the first person that’s up is Chop-Chop Corley on February 10.”
