NYC’s own Shawn “Killa” Cameron, training out of the world famous Gleason’s Gym in Brooklyn, recently announced an upcoming pro boxing fight on Dibella Entertainment’s July 8 card at BB King’s, located in Manhattan’s Times Square area.
Southpaw super welterweight Cameron seeks to expand his pro boxing record to 10-0 in a scheduled 8 rounder with Franciso Javier Reza (14-3-0) of Pantera, Mexico.
“I’m fighting a guy by the name of Francisco Reza,” Killa told Brooklynfights.com. “I know he’s tall, Mexican and has been around and has fought a lot of people. I’m just looking to go in there and do what I do. I’ve been working on my boxing, but have also incorporated some strength and conditioning in my routine. I’m definitely not looking to be in there all night.”
Brooklynfights.com will bring you a full pre-fight interview with Cameron shortly. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, you can catch some footage of Killa at about 8:15 in this video:
